Western Australia
Western Australia - at your service.
As Western Australia is such a large State, Mediventure has to be well managed and well organized.
It's our job to provide you with the support that you need in your placement at all times. In order to make it easier for you, and for us, each organisation has been assigned different responsibilities with close co-operation.
Mediventure is run through:
| |
Rural Health West (RHW). |
| |
The Australian Medical Association (WA) (AMA). |
RHW, (previously know as WACRRM) was established in 1990 and part of its role is to support the recruitment and retention of rural GPs in Western Australia. RHW is the public face of the program and provides professional support and educational opportunities as well as having a direct liaison with you regarding any clinical aspects of your assignments.
Through RHW a variety of training initiatives, induction programs and mentoring support is provided to doctors working in rural areas of the State. They are also involved in the placement of doctors.
The two organizations work together to ensure you are placed in positions most suited to your skills and experience.
While working in rural and remote Western Australia, you can relax knowing you are in the hands of professionally run organisations.
